Fragpunk has seen a lot of success on PC. After, a successful launch, many console players have been left waiting for it to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S after its sudden delay.
However, we do have a rough estimate on when it will arrive on those platforms, and thankfully you won’t have long to wait.
Fragpunk should be arriving on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime before May 6, 2025. This is because Bad Guitar Studo and NetEase have said that they hope to get the console versions ready within two months, after the game’s initial release on March 6, 2025.
This delay was due to “unexpected technical challenges in optimization and adaption.” In short, it sounds like the studio ran into some last-minute certification issues. Thankfully, once the console versions release, the studio will fully compensate console players by giving them all the in-game rewards, cosmetics, currencies, and XP they would have earned between the game’s PC launch and console launch.
This includes most of the Battle Pass during Season 1, and a lot of the login rewards players on PC have already received. We don’t know if extra rewards will be granted from monthly memberships, which is a Fortnite Crew style subscription.

Season 1 is set to last for 2 months from the game’s launch, so if the console versions take a full two months or are delayed further, the game will be into Season 2 by then. This means you will have all the Season 1 rewards and a good amount of Season 2 rewards. We will keep this article updated with the latest console release information as it is announced.
Fragpunk is available now on PC and will be launching on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in the next few months.
