Indiana Jones And The Great Circle was created by the Microsoft-owned studio Bethesda, and was originally set to be an Xbox console exclusive. However, prior to launch, it was confirmed a PlayStation version of The Great Circle was also in development.
The PlayStation launch was originally given a spring 2025 window and earlier this month, it was reported the game would be available in April although there were rumours of a delay.
Now, it has been confirmed Indiana Jones And The Great Circle will be available for PlayStation 5 gamers from April 17.
To celebrate the launch Troy Baker (who voices Indiana Jones in The Great Circle) met up with Uncharted star Nolan North to be inducted into the “exclusive” club of PlayStation adventurers.
Pre-orders for the PlayStation version of The Great Circle are now live.
Released at the end of last year for Xbox and PC, The Great Circle was a surprise hit with LucasFilm, who said they were now “super interested” in more Indiana Jones games following its success.
Developers are currently working on a DLC called The Order Of The Giants, which will reportedly expand the early story of the main game and release at some point in 2025.
Set between the events of Raiders Of The Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, The Great Circle uses Harrison Ford’s likeness but Indy was voiced by video game veteran Troy Baker for the project.
“There’s so much history going into this. There’s so much expectation,” he told NME. “I had to unburden myself from that pretty quickly. If I had stayed underneath the weight of that legacy, I’d never have been able to do it.”

Harrison Ford went on to use Baker’s performance as proof Hollywood doesn’t need to rely on AI. “You don’t need artificial intelligence to steal my soul,” he explained. “You can already do it for nickels and dimes with good ideas and talent. [Baker] did a brilliant job, and it didn’t take AI to do it.”
It comes after the pair appeared onstage together at the 2024 Game Awards. “I think this guy did a great job. If I’d have known he was so good, I’d have done it myself,” quipped Ford.
The PlayStation launch of The Great Circles comes as more Xbox games are due to come to “rival” consoles. It’s been reported that Halo and Gears Of War could also be coming to the PS5 this year while the more powerful Switch 2 could also play host to a number of iconic games.
“There’s no reason for me to put a ring fence around any game and say this game will not go to a place where it would find players, where it would have business success for us,” Xbox boss Phill Spencer said last month. “Our strategy is to allow our games to be available. To keep games off other platforms; that doesn’t work for us.”
In other news, a new report claims that Tony Hawk demanded Bam Margera be included in the upcoming Pro Skater 3+4 game after originally being cut from the remake.
