Here’s how much Justin Bieber is reportedly earning for headlining Coachella 2026

Justin Bieber is set to headline the 2026 edition of Coachella – and will reportedly earn a huge figure for doing so.

The pop star is scheduled to top the bill at the California festival next April, alongside Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G. It will mark Bieber’s first solo slots at Coachella, following past guest appearances with Ariana Grande, WizKid and Daniel Caesar.

According to Rolling Stone, the singer worked “directly” with festival promoter Goldenvoice to negotiate the terms of his upcoming headline set, rather than using a booking agent.

A source close to Bieber told the outlet: “It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own.

“Between headlining Coachella and the success of [seventh album] ‘Swag’, it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin – one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.”

The source said Bieber will earn over $10million (£7.3m) in total for his pair of Coachella 2026 performances, which are due to take place across two consecutive weekends (Saturday April 11 and Saturday April 18). That’s a huge $5million (£3.6m) per show.

The star won’t have to pay out an agency commission fee, either. It is noted that Goldenvoice’s parent company, AEG, has been Bieber’s touring partner for his entire career.

“Bieber is an unshakeable artist who has stood up against the grain and fought for his independence,” the insider added. “His 2026 Coachella performance won’t just be a headlining set, but a once-in-a-generation spectacle from a once-in-a-generation pop icon.”

Bieber hasn’t performed live in the US since his 2022 ‘Justice’ world tour. His most recent show took place in July 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. This came as part of a pre-wedding party for the son of the richest man in Asia, with Bieber reportedly being paid $10million for the gig.

The singer surprise-released ‘Swag’ – the follow-up to 2021’s ‘Justice’ – in July, before sharing the sequel ‘Swag II’ earlier this month. In a three-star review of the latter, NME wrote: “It’s frustrating because there’s plenty of great material scattered across these two parts, which would be far stronger as a single, shorter release.

“Put bluntly, you have to wonder: did this really need to be a double album?”

Earlier this year, Bieber hit out at what he labelled “gossip” and “lies” about his private life after he attended Coachella 2025.

Meanwhile, fans have been sharing their excitement about some of the big names further down on the Coachella 2026 line-up.

Other acts featured on the bill include The Strokes, David ByrneThe xx, Nine Inch Noize (Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize), DisclosureTurnstileEthel CainKATSEYE, Addison RaeInterpolAlex GBIGBANGLaufeyIggy PopFKA Twigs and Wet Leg. You can find ticket information here.
