Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite following ‘Stranger Things’ bullying accusations

Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour have reunited on the Stranger Things red carpet after recent bullying allegations.

Last week, reports emerged that suggested that Brown had filed a claim against her on-screen adopted father before the filming of the fifth season, accusing Harbour of “harassment and bullying”.

Harbour is said to have faced an internal inquiry following Brown’s complaints, although the Mail On Sunday noted that there were no claims of sexual impropriety.

On Thursday night (November 6), Brown and Harbour were seen together on the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of the fifth and final season of the hit Netflix show, with footage showing them smiling, laughing and embracing each other in front of the cameras.

At the red carpet event, series co—creator Ross Duffer spoke about the allegations, telling The Hollywood Reporter: “Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal onset matters, but I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”

The initial report of the allegations said that Brown’s claim was submitted before they started shooting the last season, with a source claiming there were “pages and pages of accusations” and “the investigation went on for months.”

Brown plays Eleven in the show, a character with telepathic and psychokinetic abilities, who becomes an adoptive daughter to Harbour’s Jim Hopper, the local police chief. The first portion of the final season will arrive on November 27 at 1am GMT, while the second will drop at the same time on December 26. Its finale then follows at 1am on New Year’s Day in the UK.

The first five minutes of the opening episode have now been released via Netflix’s social media channels, and you can watch them here.

The show’s final episode will also debut in over 350 cinemas in the US and UK, with the screenings starting at 5pm PT on December 31 – the same time as it drops on Netflix.

The fresh allegations come at a time when Harbour has also been in the headlines as a result of his ex-partner Lily Allen’s new album ‘West End Girl’, which has been largely written about their breakup, with some tracks appearing to directly address Harbour’s infidelity.

The actor was recently asked about turning 50 and whether there is anything he would change about his life. “That’s such a hard question – the question of regret, or something,” he replied. “I would change either everything or nothing.”

Harbour continued: “You either accept your path completely and realise that even the pain and the slip-ups and the mistakes are all part of the journey, and that there’s truth and growth, wisdom and deeper empathy and connection in all that. It’s kind of like a house of cards, the minute you try to change one thing, you kind of have to change it all.”
