Created by and starring Alvarez, the show follows a high school teacher in Austin, Texas who is struggling to juggle his personal and professional life.

Alongside Alvarez in the lead role, the FX series stars Stephanie Koenig, Enrico Colantoni, Sean Patton, Carmen Christopher, Jordan Firstman, and Langston Kerman.
