Mark Ruffalo in Task

Mark Ruffalo is an FBI agent who goes up against a group of robbers in Task.

Created by Brad Ingelsby (Mare Of Easttown), the crime drama follows Philadelphia-based FBI agent Tom Brandis (Ruffalo), who is called back into the field to investigate a series of violent robberies led by unassuming family man Robbie (Tom Pelphrey).

Other cast members in the show include Emilia Jones, Fabien Frankel, Thuso Mbedu, Raúl Castillo, Alison Oliver, Owen Teague, Martha Plimpton, Jamie McShane and Sam Keeley.

The first episode of Task debuted across HBO and Sky on September 7, with the remaining six episodes set to air weekly until October 19, 2025.

Who composed the soundtrack to Task?

The show’s score is by electronic musician and composer Dan Deacon, whose previous credits include Venom: The Last Dance, Hustle and The Changeling.

Beyond his work across film and TV, Deacon has released five albums as a solo artist, with his latest being 2020’s ‘Mystic Familiar’.
