Iron Maiden have announced a 2026 European tour and teased a huge UK headline show. Find out all the details below.
The upcoming gigs mark an extension to their two-year, 50th anniversary ‘Run For Your Lives’ tour, which came to the continent earlier this year.
It marked their first run of shows with new touring drummer Simon Dawson, who was appointed following the touring retirement of long-term sticksman Nicko McBrain. McBrain announced he would be “taking a step back” from touring last year due to suffering a minor stroke in 2023, which left him partially paralysed on his right side from the shoulder down.
Additionally, the tour saw the band perform songs exclusively from the acclaimed first seven albums.
Now, they’ve announced an extension for 2026, set to kick off in May. They’ll play shows in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Portugal, before wrapping up with a final show in the UK on July 11 – though exact details of the latter are yet to be revealed.
Tickets go on sale on Monday (September 22), and will be available here. Find a full list of dates and venues below.

Steve Harris said of the announcement: “The fans have been amazing, the set list is perfect for the 50th Anniversary, the show is arguably our best ever and ticket demand was incredible with pretty much everywhere sold out and over a million fans attending. So we all thought we should play some more shows in Europe before heading out to other parts of the world later in the year.”
He added that Dawson would continue to join them on the road, adding: “Both he and the whole band would like to thank our fans for the terrific reception you have given him on the first leg.”
Further shows are expected to be announced shortly, with manager Ron Smallwood saying teasing “more announcements coming later for 2026”, adding: “Rest assured we will be visiting as many of you as possible next year, before the band take a well-earned break from the road in 2027.”
Ahead of the tour’s kick-off, the band shared a message with fans, urging them to “severely limit the use of their phone cameras out of respect for the band and their fellow fans”. Per a press release, they’ll be continuing this policy for this leg of the tour.
During Nicko McBrain’s final show with the band last year, Dickinson also made sure to remind fans that McBrain has not left Iron Maiden. He will still be with the band, and will track with them on upcoming albums, but will no longer be touring due to his medical condition.
