Wu-Tang Clan kicked off the US tour dates this June with a career-spanning set in Baltimore. At those gigs, all surviving members – RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa – were on hand and each took their turns in playing tracks from their solo careers alongside Wu-Tang classics.
Before then, the group announced that a new album, ‘Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman’, would be released for Record Store Day 2025.
It marked their first full-length album since 2017’s The Saga Continues, and saw members reunite with producer Mathematics, who has been associated with the group since their earliest days.
